Knitting for Caleb

My boys are very badly off for clothing. I'm awaiting some exciting new purchases but in the meantime I'm making an outfit for Caleb. It's not finished yet but he can't wait to show you. I cut up a pair of my worn trousers to make him some pants, and am knitting a sweater in this gorgeous Araucanía Ranco sock yarn which is 75% wool. I love the very subtle self striping effect.

"I'm going as fast as I can with the sleeves Caleb!"

  1. Lovely colour wool, it is looking fabulous knitted up! I often cut up trousers/jeans, usually of the boys, and use them to make clothes for Gregor and co.

  2. Did you know about the Secret Santa Swap I am running on my blog? I have two spare places, so if you'd like to join in that would be great.

  3. I did see that Lorraine but I won't have time to join in this one, I've a busy month ahead including two weekends away. Hopefully next time. Thanks for your lovely comments. I finished knitting his sleeves last night, so he won't need to shiver for much longer :-)
