Kina Cardi Finished

It didn't really get daylight here today! So here is Sadie, in the gloom, to show you the Kina Cardi finished.

Knitting and Stitching Goodies

Sorry for the delay in getting back to this blog. Had a stressful week since returning home. Anyway, here's my bag of goodies from the show.

With Cody's help I was working on this Kina Cardigan pattern (in two sizes for Sasha and baby) that is free on Ravelry. It's the first time I've tried knitting from the neck down. There's very little making up to do, just a tiny seam under each arm, so I'll ask for a volunteer to model it tomorrow.

Away for the Weekend

No more posts until next week as I'm off to Dublin for the weekend for the Knitting and Stitching Show and Cody has been chosen to come with me.

"Bye Mum and Cody, bring us back something nice"

Pink Spotted Sadie

Now the last of my shopping spree at Dollydoodles is this darling Sleepsuit and Hat set with hot pink spots! It is totally Sadie and you can see how delighted she is with it, as am I.

This means that Cody can claim the outfit that is rightfully his, so happy smiles all round.

A new DollyDoodles Outfit for John

John and I are both thrilled with his new outfit from the wonderful DollyDoodles. He certainly is the coolest kid on the block around here now, that's for sure.

It's just perfect for space hopping in, isn't it John.

I did some experimenting today and tried some new things with blogger. I think I like this larger format, do you?

Alison

Alison is wearing a Sasha Festival 1998 outfit which was beautifully made by Mary K Workman. Her sweet bag was part of a BJD clothing swap I was in during the summer.

This morning I saw a post on Sasha_Mart Yahoo Group about the knitters forum Ravelry. I'd been meaning to join Ravelry for a while, so signed up and then joined the Sasha-Friends group on there.

I'm delighted to have discovered this, the group looks great fun and I love the format of a Forum Style group.

You need to sign up with Ravelry first and then you can join the Sasha-Friends group
Hope to see you there

Caleb's Outfit is finished

Just in time, as it's very frosty here now in the mornings and evenings, lovely sunny days though. Caleb is pleased with my efforts to make him an outfit, and it's finished off beautifully with the gorgeous duffel coat from Sasha Doll Style. Caleb loves the lion puppet that Nikki sent with it.

New Baby Clothes

An exciting parcel arrived from DollyDoodles yesterday - an absolutely gorgeous cream and silver Joggers and Top Set. It was intended as a welcome present for Cody, but Sadie threw a tantrum so she got to wear it first.

Cody is fresh and clean now and wearing a sweet Dog Gone Cute outfit from WendyY2k on ebay. The sun was rather too bright this morning for taking photos, but we managed.

John

It's all about the boys at the moment. Now it's John's turn to get his time in the spotlight. Don't you just love his puddly blue eyes?

I've ordered him a gorgeous new outfit from DollyDoodles so he'll be sure to show that off when it arrives.

Knitting for Caleb

My boys are very badly off for clothing. I'm awaiting some exciting new purchases but in the meantime I'm making an outfit for Caleb. It's not finished yet but he can't wait to show you. I cut up a pair of my worn trousers to make him some pants, and am knitting a sweater in this gorgeous Araucanía Ranco sock yarn which is 75% wool. I love the very subtle self striping effect.

"I'm going as fast as I can with the sleeves Caleb!"

Gregor Baby Playsuit is here!

Meet Cody, who arrived safely yesterday. He's my Ebay bargain buy and I'm thrilled with him.
He and his clothing could do with a good wash, but that's all he needs. His hair is great and look at those gorgeous eyes.
